Amazon India recently organised ‘Amazon Xperience Arena’ in Delhi as part of its Amazon Great Indian Festival 2023 starting from October 8 2023.
The ‘Amazon Xperience Arena’ took place at Delhi College of Arts and Commerce, University of Delhi with the aim of giving a preview of its festive season sale, Amazon Great India Festival (AGIF).
Now it had since moved to Jaipur on October 12, 2023 with the subsequent editions in Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Kolkata.
During the Amazon Great Indian Festival 2023, customers enjoyed deals on the widest selection of products at great value and the convenience of fast and reliable delivery. Customers had accessed to more than 5,000 new launches along with exciting offers across categories.
Speaking on the sidelines of the ‘Amazon Xperience Arena’, Amazon Fashion India, Vice President, Saurabh Srivastava said that the company is seeing a trend of customers across segments moving towards premium products. Amazon Fashion is a business unit under Amazon India.
He added that the next generation, customers, Gen Z are adopting online shopping in a big way.
Here are some trends observed on Amazon.in:
- One-in-two customers shopping on Amazon.in are Gen Z and from North of India.
- Customers in Delhi show a strong inclination towards premium products such as premium sarees in the newly launched ‘Saree Store’.
- The Gen Z customers has a strong preference for K-pop-inspired attires such as oversized clothing, including baggy pants and oversized blazers and nostalgia-driven fashion trends from ’90s and early 2000s styles.
- Increased demand from customers in Delhi for global beauty brands on our ‘Global beauty Store’, like blush, lipsticks, lip tints, BB Creams and multi-purpose products.`
