(NASDAQ: UPTDU) (“TradeUP Acquisition” or the “Company”) announced today that, commencing September 7, 2021, holders of the Units (the “Units”) sold in the Company’s initial public offering (“IPO”) and the over-allotment of 4,430,000 Units may elect to separately trade the shares of common stock and warrants included in the Units. Any Units not separated will continue to trade on the NASDAQ Capital Market (“NASDAQ”) under the symbol “UPTDU”. Any underlying common stock and warrants that are separated will trade on the NASDAQ under the symbols “UPTD” and “UPTDW,” respectively. No fractional warrants will be issued upon separation of the Units and only whole warrants will trade. Holders of Units will need to have their brokers contact the Company’s transfer agent, VStock Transfer, LLC, in order to separate the holders’ Units into common stock and warrants.
