2019 Most Popular Workplace Apps by Number of Customers

Many workplace apps that was trendy 5 years ago have gone out of style. Companies are starting to use tools and apps that are more tailored to their needs.

Apps such as Lucidchart and GitHub join the top 15 most popular apps by number of customers for the first time. Office 365 is ranked first and takes the lead from the likes of G Suite and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Surprisingly Salesforce which specializes in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) came in second. G Suite showed faster year-over-year growth, increasing its number of customers by 37%, versus Office 365’s 36% customer growth.

Looking at the active unique users, apps like Zoom and Ultipro join the ranks of top apps, and G Suite pushes ahead of Salesforce. G Suite’s year-over-year growth stands out at 50% for active unique users, while Office 365 has experienced 38% active unique user growth.

The Most Popular Apps by Number of Customers are as follow:

1. Microsoft Office 365

2. Salesforce

3. Amazon Web Services (AWS)

4. G Suite

5. Atlassian Product Suite

6. Slack

8. Box

9. SAP Concur

10. Cisco Meraki

11. DocuSign
